AP Referral Program

Recommend KAEC AP Exams to students and receive rewards.

Anyone—including students, teachers, and parents—can participate as a referrer.
We encourage your active interest and participation, and hope you will help us promote AP Exams with KAEC.

Referrers can register using the registration form below.
Referred students can designate their referrer by entering the referrer’s email address during AP Exam registration.
Referral Rewards

Rewards are issued differentially per confirmed AP Exam subject based on the total number of referred students. For example, if the number of referred students reaches 50, a flat rate of 15,000 KRW per subject will be applied to all subjects registered through the referrer.

- 1 – 49 students: 10,000 KRW per subject
- 50 – 99 students: 15,000 KRW per subject
- 100 students or more: 20,000 KRW per subject

Payment Information

Rewards will be deposited into the bank account provided during referrer registration. Payments will be made after all Regular and Late AP Exam registration periods have concluded, and the total amount will be calculated by combining the subjects registered across both periods.

개인정보보호정책 및 처리방침

‘한미교육위원단’ (이하 '위원단')은 이용자의 개인정보를 중요시하며, 지원자가 제공한 개인정보의 보호에 각별한 주의를 기울이고 있습니다. 위원단은 '개인정보보호법'과 '정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호에 관한 법률' 등 관련법 상의 개인정보 보호 규정을 준수하며, 개인보호정책은 법령 및 정부치침의 변경과 보다 나은 개인정보 이용을 위해 그 내용이 변경될 수 있습니다.

위원단은 개인정보처리방침을 통하여 이용자의 개인정보가 남용되거나 유출되지 않도록 최선을다할 것이며, 이용자가 제공하는 개인정보가 어떠한 용도와 방식으로 이용되고 있고, 개인정보보호를 위해 어떠한 조치가 취해지고 있는지 다음과 같이 고지하며, 개인정보처리방침을 개정하는 경우 웹사이트 공지사항 (또는 개별공지)을 통하여 공지할 것입니다.

I. 개인정보 수집 및 이용 동의
위원단은 개인정보보호방침 또는 개인정보 수집, 이용, 조회 및 제공 동의 내용에 대해 (동의함)버튼 또는 (동의하지 않음) 버튼을 클릭할 수 있는 절차를 마련하여, (동의함) 버튼을 클릭하면 개인정보 및 고유식별정보 수집과 이용에 대해 동의한 것으로 봅니다. 개인정보의 수집•이용에 동의를 거부할 경우, 귀하의 AP 시험 추천인 프로그램 참여가 불가하다는 점을 유념하시기 바랍니다.

2. 개인정보 수집항목 및 수집방법
위원단은 한미교육위원단 AP 시험 추천인 프로그램과 관련하여 다음과 같은 개인정보를 수집하고 있습니다.
- 개인정보 수집항목 : 성명 (국문 혹은 영문), 이메일, 연락처 정보(휴대폰), 은행명, 계좌번호, 소속 혹은 직업 정보
- 정보 수집방법 : 온라인 웹사이트 지원서식

3. 개인정보의 수집 및 이용목적
위원단은 수집한 개인정보를 다음의 목적을 위해 활용합니다.
- 한미교육위원단 AP 시험 추천인 프로그램 운영
- 추천인 보상 지급

4. 개인정보의 보유 및 이용기간
원칙적으로, 개인정보 수집 및 이용목적이 달성된 후에는 해당 개인정보를 지체 없이 파기합니다.

5. 개인정보의 파기절차 및 방법
- 파기절차: 수집된 정보는 목적이 달성된 후 별도의 데이터 베이스로 옮겨져 (종이의 경우 별도의 서류함) 내부 방침 및 기타 관련 법령에 의한 정보보호 사유에 따라 (보유 및 이용기간 참조) 일정기간 저장된 후 파기됩니다. 별도 데이터 베이스로 옮겨진 개인정보는 법률에 의한 경우가 아니고서는 보유 이외의 다른 목적으로 이용되지 않습니다.
- 파기방법: 종이에 출력한 개인정보는 분쇄기로 분쇄하여 파기합니다. 전자적 파일형태로 저장된 개인정보는 기록을 재생할 수 없는 기술적 방법을 사용하여 삭제합니다.

6. 개인정보의 제3자 제공 및 공유
위원단은 이용자의 개인정보를 원칙적으로 외부에 제공하지 않습니다. 다만, 아래의 경우에는 예외로 합니다.
- 법령의 규정에 의거하거나, 수사 목적으로 법령에 정해진 절차와 방법에 따라 수사기관의 요구가 있는 경우

7. 수집한 개인정보의 취급 위탁
위원단은 감독관의 동의 없이 개인정보를 6항의 개인정보의 제3자 제공 및 공유란에 명시된 이외의 기관과 업체에는 제공하지 않으며, 향후 그러한 필요가 생길 경우, 위탁 대상자와 위탁 업무 내용에 대해 개인에게 통지하고 필요한 경우 사전 동의를 받도록 합니다.
본 동의서의 효력은 해당 사업이 갱신 또는 변경되는 경우에도 유효하며, 개인 정보는 제공된 날로부터 동의 철회 시 또는 제공된 목적을 달성할 때까지 보유 및 이용됩니다. 동의 철회 또는 제공된 목적 달성 후에는 위에 기재된 이용 목적과 관련된 민원처리, 법령상 의무이행 등 교육평가사무국 사업을 위하여 필요한 범위 내에서만 보유 및 이용됩니다.

8. 동의를 거부할 권리 및 동의를 거부할 경우의 불이익
위 개인(신용)정보의 수집 및 이용에 관한 동의는 거부할 수 있으며, 다만 동의하지 않는 경우 AP 시험 추천인 프로그램을 이용할 수 없습니다.

The Korean-American Educational Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “Commission”) values users’ personal information and takes special care to protect the personal information provided by applicants. The Commission complies with the relevant provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, among others. This Privacy Policy may be amended in accordance with changes in laws, government guidelines, or to ensure better use of personal information.

Through this Privacy Policy, the Commission will make every effort to prevent misuse or leakage of users’ personal information. The Commission hereby informs users of the purposes and methods of use of personal information provided, as well as the measures taken for protection. Any revisions to this Privacy Policy will be announced via the Commission’s website notice (or individual notice, if applicable).

1. Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Commission provides a procedure by which users may click either the (Agree) or (Disagree) button regarding this Privacy Policy or the consent to collection, use, inquiry, and provision of personal information. By clicking (Agree), users are deemed to have consented to the collection and use of personal information and unique identification information. Please note that if you refuse consent, you will not be able to participate in the AP Exam Referral Program.

2. Items of Personal Information Collected and Methods of Collection
In relation to the AP Exam Referral Program of the Commission, the following personal information is collected:
- Items collected: Name (in Korean or English), email, contact information (mobile phone), bank name, account number, affiliation or occupational information
- Method of collection: Online application form on the website

3. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Commission uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:
- Operation of the AP Exam Referral Program of the Commission
- Payment of referral rewards

4. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, personal information will be destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved.

5. Procedures and Methods of Destruction of Personal Information
- Procedure: After the purpose has been achieved, collected information will be transferred to a separate database (or stored in a separate file cabinet in the case of paper documents) and retained for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws (see retention and use period), after which it will be destroyed. Personal information transferred to a separate database will not be used for any other purpose except retention, unless otherwise required by law.
- Method: Personal information printed on paper will be shredded. Personal information stored in electronic file format will be permanently deleted using technical methods that render the records irrecoverable.

6. Provision and Sharing of Personal Information with Third Parties
In principle, the Commission does not provide users’ personal information to external parties. However, exceptions apply in the following cases:
- When required by law, or when requested by investigative authorities in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes.

7. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
The Commission does not provide personal information to institutions or companies other than those specified in Article 6 without the supervisor’s consent. If such outsourcing becomes necessary in the future, the Commission will notify the individual of the recipient and the details of the outsourced work, and obtain prior consent when required.
This agreement remains valid even if the relevant project is renewed or modified. Personal information will be retained and used from the date of provision until consent is withdrawn or the stated purpose is fulfilled. After consent is withdrawn or the purpose is fulfilled, personal information may be retained and used only within the scope necessary for complaint handling, compliance with legal obligations, or other business requirements of the Educational Testing Office.

8. Right to Refuse Consent and Disadvantages of Refusal
You have the right to refuse consent to the collection and use of your personal (credit) information. However, if you refuse consent, you will not be able to participate in the AP Exam Referral Program.
