The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) measures the ability to understand and use English at the university level. It consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing, and evaluates the ability to integrate and use these four language skills. The primary purpose of the TOEFL is to assess whether non-native English speakers can undertake academic studies at English-speaking universities. It is also used for admissions and employment purposes by more than 13,000 institutions in 160 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Germany. The total testing time is approximately 2 hours. Due to the adaptive nature of the test, testing time and question composition may vary by individual.

The Korean-American Educational Commission operates a total of seven TOEFL test centers on the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and Basement Level 1, and approximately 150 test administrations are administered over about 80 days each year.
