The KAEC (Korean-American Educational Commission) Testing Center carries out the educational mission of the Korean-American Educational Commission— a nonprofit educational institution established in 1950 to promote mutual understanding and goodwill between Korea and the United States—through the administration of examinations. The center has consistently provided reliable testing information and a structured, standardized testing environment to support individuals—including Fulbright scholars—who are preparing for or currently pursuing studies in the United States in achieving their academic goals. Overview of Testing Services
The KAEC Testing Center began administering the TOEFL test in partnership with ETS in 1984, and expanded access to testing by introducing AP exams in Korea in 2008. In 2020, the center underwent renovation to establish a modern testing environment.
Today, the KAEC Testing Center reliably administers a wide range of globally recognized standardized tests, including AP, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, CLEP, and GRE for graduate study. In addition, the center offers professional certification exams through Pearson Certiport, PSI, and Kryterion, as well as customized proctoring services, ensuring both expertise and versatility in test administration.
