  • GRE(Graduate Record Examination)
The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is a standardized test used in the graduate admissions process in English-speaking countries, including the United States. It is required not only for admission to general graduate schools, but also for some professional graduate programs such as MBA programs and law schools. The GRE is divided into the GRE General Test, which evaluates general verbal and quantitative abilities, and the GRE Subject Test, which evaluates knowledge in specific academic disciplines.
  • Test Structure
    • The GRE General Test evaluates fundamental academic abilities. The total testing time is approximately 1 hour and 58 minutes and consists of five sections.
      • Verbal Reasoning (One section): Evaluates English reading comprehension and logical reasoning skills

      • Quantitative Reasoning (Two sections): Evaluates quantitative reasoning and basic mathematics problem-solving skills

      • Analytical Writing (Two sections): Evaluates logical thinking and writing skills

    • The GRE Subject Test has been administered as an Internet-Based Test (iBT) since September 2023. Currently, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology subject tests are available. Registration and testing are available for two-week periods during September, October, and April each year.
